ALHYDRAN products in Dirty God: a movie about burn wounds
Our products have been used in an impressive movie, about a burn victim. Dirty God is a story about Jade: a young mother in the prime of her life when an acid attack leaves her severely burned. While her face has been reconstructed, her beauty is lost beneath the scars. Descending a self-destructive path with relationships crumbling, Jade must take drastic action to reclaim her life.
Skin improvement and a better quality of life
We want to help people, people with a stressed skin. For example, scars and burns. ALHYDRAN reduces skin problems and helps the skin heal. This not only ensures skin improvement, but ultimately a better quality of life.
Once in a while a project comes along, that touches the core of what our mission is all about. A movie, entirely devoted to a burn victim, was created. When the film makers of Dirty God asked us for help, we were eager to participate.
It gives us great satisfaction that our scar products have contributed to the special story of Jade and many other burn victims. It reinforces our commitment to treat every scar with the best possible care. That’s our daily mission.
We do this with doctors, skin professionals, burn centers and through patient education.
Dirty God. A movie about a scarred skin and soul.
Lead actress Vicky Knight has burn wounds in real-life
Vicky Knight is the star of Dirty God. In real-life, she was scarred in a fire as a child. With this film, she wants to show everyone that there is a life after burns, a life that consists of more than just operations. Vicky believes anything is possible, “whether you’ve got a disfigurement or a disability”, and she hopes that is what viewers sense from watching the film.
